This project is under development, I can only share the part I have worked on to showcase my skills.
I worked on Level Design throughout a period of 9 months, designed multiple variations of different kind of level scenarios.
Old Levels that didn't make it
Game Context

Based on Hindu Mythology, the game is inspired by Hanuman, the ancient monkey god who is believed to be the reincarnation of Lord Shiva. Hanuman, strong and fearless, uses his giant mace to fight for Lord Rama against the ten-headed demon king Ravana.
Setting:
The story takes place in ancient Sri Lanka, inside the walled city of Lanka. The player controls Hanuman as he sneaks into the city while a great war happens outside. He must fight enemies, clear the path for Rama’s army, and help bring victory and peace by defeating Ravana.
Goal
Design a prototype level having the essence of the prologue level.
To show the war active in the valley, as hanuman find way through the mountains to infiltrate Ravana's kingdom

Brainstorming
Key points to keep in mind while designing the Prototype level:
1. Hanuman finds his own way through the forest and Ravanas defenses
2. Keeping the level fun with curves, bends and passages going up & down.
3. Adding vistas to show glimpses of the war happening in the valley below.
4. Adding safe jumping, not showing the hero fall off cliffs and ditches.
5. Enemies tested, cover from range enemies, increasing enemy encounter complexity.
6. Intrigue - Teach - Challenge ; using this formula to teach new mechanics and moves.
Roughouts:
A glimpse of the first iteration of the level, showing hanuman, Ravana's wall in front, and infilterating the palace from the left side of a cliff, overlooking the Ramayan war.
This level was used as an understudy, to understand base mechanics and level perspective to create such a big war. Key elements were used from this level while more traversal mechanics were made.
The game is under development,
More progress
coming soon.
