
Parliament Parody is the game I made with my team for my college's Game Jam. We made a static shooter, as the head minister of the parliament who is corrupted, shoot down good ideas, and let ideas of your friends pass.

Rough Concept for the game
Level Design
To make a Parliament level inspired from the Roman Parliaments, a semi circular conference with tables and chairs.



Made 2D Step Layout on Adobe Illustrator then exported as SVG to blender to give extrusions and details
I placed tables for the other ministers and added some details to the environment; doors, pillars and stairs.


I also did the lighting of the level and with the environment artist, I set dressed the level.

To blend with the world better, I made the countdown curved in blender, using the UV made a material to show progress in Unreal.

Health Lives, the player is given 3 lives each round, these get over as the good idea bubble reaches the roof.
Shooting Cooldown, to limit button spamming once the bar gets red or filled, it coolsdown.
